Data summary tables are a good idea because they concisely present data in an aesthetic manner that is easy to read. They can also be customized with different filters, which can help to show trends in an easy way. Data summary tables also allow you to put the exact quantities of data, since it lacks a scale. The fact that data summary tables can be read from left to right also makes it an ideal visualization of data because we read from left to right, so little to no adjustment of perception is needed.
